Regenerative estate, nature reserve & wellbeing retreat centre

Set over 173 acres of wild land, ancient forest, and rewilded meadows, 42 Acres is a regenerative estate and nature reserve. The site is large and it is a 20 minute walk from one side to the other.

Entirely powered by renewable energy, meeting spaces and accommodations have been designed to resemble a sanctuary.

Their “soil-to-gut” food philosophy is at the heart of everything they do. The food served is simple, hyper-local and nutrient-dense. Much of it have been homegrown or wild-foraged on their land, the rest is sourced, year-round, from within 42 miles.

The venue has 2 entrances, please check which centre you’re coming to before you set off. The site is large and it is a 20 minute walk from one side to the other.

If you are staying at The Farmhouse, Rettig, Deer Cottage, Swallow's Next or Our Yurt, use the 42 Acres Entrance.

This link will show you directions that will take you directly to the junction to turn off the road, where you will see a teal sign for ’42 Acres.’ Follow the track for a few hundred meters and you will see our farmhouse as you approach. Turn to the left for the car park.

Hermitage Entrance

If you are staying at The Hermitage, Monks Hatch, Library Barn, Tiny Boat or Our Campsite, use the Hermitage Entrance.

This link will give you directions to take you directly to the junction to turn off the road, where you will see a small wooden sign with ‘The Hermitage’ in white writing. Keep following the main track, through the gates and over the small bridge until you reach the main courtyard and car park.

By public transport

The nearest train stations are listed below. Once you arrive, you will need to arrange transport from the station to 42 Acres.
